Welcome to my update log/blog/whatever the hell else I decide to make this
Here I will be posting a combination of updates, random thoughts, coding inquiries, and probably some other nonsense along the way. The formatting on this will change as I figure out how to tidy up the code, so for now you'll all just have to tolerate the spaghetti code and bland look. So, without further ado:
- Update on October 16th, 2023: I just got back from a trip to New York, and I gotta say, I get more envious of the food scene there everytime I visit. Had some of the best pork katsu I've ever eaten in my life, picked up a whole pound of pastries from Viniero's, and ate way too many food cart hot dogs. The new wing they put in the natural history museum is super cool as well, I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance. I'm hoping to start doing semi-consistent updates on the rest of the site and make some steady progress before college finals. However, I do still have a lot to learn with regards to coding, so updates will probably be a bit sporadic for a few weeks. My first planned update is on the main CSS of the website, because I can only stand to look at black text on a white background for so long. Here's hoping I can get that sorted out.
- Update on November 27th, 2023: So college final projects have started to hit me like a truck, so any hopes of this site finally getting an update (I swear I'm working on it) will have to be set aside for the time being, as I have large projects due as late as December 10th, how fun. On that note, can I just say that some professors are terrible at their jobs? I've got a history paper where I can only use the sources that the professor has given us, and what kind of nonsense is that? Let me do obscure research damnit, I could write so much more about Augustus if you'd just let me.
- Update on October 9, 2024: So apparently it's been a hot minute since I touched this page, oops. Fall break is finally here at least, which means a whole three extra days to tell myself I'll make significant updates to the website only for nothing to get done. Once again, oops. On the upside, I've gotten my hands on even more tools to help with DnD and asset design, so that's definitely a plus. I'll take this time to plug Tiny Glade on Steam because there's nothing more satisfying than building a cozy-looking woodland scene.
